Shipping Tapes to Us
To ship audio tapes, you’ll need a sturdy carton and some packing material. Bubble wrap is excellent packing material for audio tapes. Crumpled newspaper also works well.
Pack the tapes so they are standing up and securely held in place. Tapes that are lying down are more susceptible to damage.
We also need information. Download and print this PDF form Fill it out, and include it in the box.
Seal the carton well and ship it to:
Mike Hickcox, Mid-Coast Communication
7 Cottage Street
Belfast, Maine 04915-6746
You can ship by the USPS, UPS, or FEDEX.
Be sure to get a tracking number and put it somewhere safe until we let you know the tapes have arrived.
We’ll process the tapes, then return them to you, along with the digital files on a USB thumb drive, and an invoice for the work. (Note: for an additional charge of $50, we’ll send all the files back on a portable hard drive. If digitizing 15 or more tapes, we’ll upgrade to a portable hard drive at no cost.)
